At Malaka Spice, I didn’t just dine… I drifted. Flavours danced—Thai, Vietnamese, a hint of Bali in between— like travelers who met on my plate and decided to stay a little longer. Malaka is one of my favorites restaurants in Pune. The Mutton Momos are the best, but was no available this time. The Chicken Momos are also very good! Great food, great beer, great environment.

Wonderful entrance and beautiful ambiance. I started with a simple black coffee…….woke me up and hit the spot. Off to the meal: 1. Madurasi Soup…..spicy and flavorful. 2. Papaya Salad……authentic and thirst quenching. 3. Chicken Thigh Thai…..Yes, spicy and wonderful flavor with pieces of garlic. 4. Malaka Tab Tim Krob…..desert, refreshing and delicious. Enjoyed each dish that I ordered. Service was excellent from entrance, my meal, and exit. Thanks to Theresa, Alim, and Manoj. I had a wonderful experience.
Everything about this place is just awesome, be it food quality...ambience... atmosphere... service 🫶🫶🫶😍😍😍 Do not worry about the menu item not being familiar, just ask the waiters...they will make sure to make your dinner extra special ❣️❣️❣️
An excellent restaurant for East Asian cuisine involving curry and starters. I tried the vegetable murtabak starter and Malaka Debal curry with roti jhala and coriander rice. They all tasted great. The recommendations by hosts are also excellent. The service is very prompt and there wasn’t a separate charge or tip, so it makes the food worth it (even though it’s upscale). I’d recommend pre-booking and paying through apps like District.
Beautiful place, great for bigger groups. Lots of after office hour crowd. We were a group of 12 people, ordered several dishes and drinks The food seemed like it was made in mass quantities, not the Malaka it used to be back in the days. The cocktails were good but soon tasted strange once kept for more than 10min as they would get watered down. I usually don’t write negative reviews, but Malaka being a comparatively expensive place has to be more mindful. Having said that the staff and service was great!

What a beautiful dining experience at this lovely pan Asian restaurant in North main Avenue @ KP. Signature dishes , exquisitely flavoured striking your palate with satiety and satisfaction. Portion sizings are good and never order in bulk. Order a couple of dishes at time , savour the taste and order more . There is plenty to choose from and the Thai/ Indonesian cuisine is divine . Must visit. Weekends pre book else the waiting will be too taxing. Parking - leave it to tha valet .
